The department also dismissed claims regarding the impact of a super El Niño, stating that Pakistan is not currently experiencing such conditions.

According to officials, the ongoing heatwave is part of normal seasonal patterns and cannot be termed an unusual phenomenon.

The public has been advised to avoid unverified information and rely only on credible sources.

The department assured that any unusual weather developments would be communicated in a timely manner, while precautionary measures during the heatwave remain necessary.
