ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has termed Asad Qaiser's press conference as contrary to facts, stating that his misleading statements are not in the public's interest.

In a statement issued from the federal capital, Tarar highlighted progress in various sectors of the national economy, clarifying that Pakistan's economy is becoming stable.

Labeling Asad Qaiser’s press conference as misleading, he said that Qaiser’s statements are confusing the public. He noted that remittances have reached $38 billion, the current account surplus stands at $2.1 billion, and inflation is decreasing.

The federal minister further stated that exports are increasing, the stock market is consistently rising, and the economy is progressing. He questioned Asad Qaiser, "Do you not accept these facts?"

Addressing the May 9 incidents, Atta Tarar added that a conspiracy was orchestrated on that day, during which state institutions were attacked. Defending the punishments awarded for these serious crimes, he emphasized that all verdicts were delivered through transparent and fair trials.
