LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has firmly rejected the allegations circulating on social media against fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, team captain Salman Ali Agha, and members of the coaching staff.

In an official statement issued on Thursday, the PCB called the allegations baseless and fabricated, asserting that no untoward incident occurred during any training session. The board labeled the rumours as a deliberate attempt to disrupt team unity.

The PCB advised the public to refrain from spreading or believing in false and misleading reports and announced its intent to pursue legal action against those involved in defaming the national team.

“These defamatory rumors are an attack on the integrity of the national team,” the statement read. “PCB will initiate legal proceedings under the Cybercrime Act against those spreading false accusations.”

Such misinformation constitutes a calculated and reprehensible attempt to undermine the cohesion, morale, and reputation of the Pakistan national team.
