Fact Check-Fabricated CNN screenshot on Depp and Rittenhouse going on a ‘national tour’
(Reuters) - An image shared on social media purports to show a CNN headline about Johnny Depp and Kyle Rittenhouse organizing a “national tour.” The screenshot, however, is fabricated. CNN published no such headline.
The headline in the image reads: “Johnny Depp rumored to be organizing national tour with Kyle Rittenhouse to spread awareness on the dangers of defamation” and carries a timestamp of June 01, 2022 “updated 6:16PM EDT.”
