Sanjay Dutt visited legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, who underwent a successful abdominal surgery.
Renowned Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt on Sunday (February 12) visited legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in a hospital in Indias entertainment capital Mumbai.Bachchan underwent a successful abdominal surgery at the citys Seven Hills Hospital on Saturday.The 69-year-old veteran actor has had a series of stomach ailments in the recent past, stemming from his near fatal accident on the sets of film Coolie in 1982.Speaking to mediapersons after meeting Bachchan on Sunday, Dutt prayed for him to soon recover from the operation and return home at the earliest.We all pray that sir (Amitabh Bachchan) remains healthy and we all are his big fans. As soon as I got to know about his surgery I came to meet him. Sir holds a position, which is even higher than my family and I pray to god that he recovers soon and returns home, said Dutt.Entrepreneur Subroto Roy of the Sahara Group also paid a visit to Bachchan at the hospital.Bachchan achieved recognition in the early 1970s as the angry young man of Hindi cinema, and since then acted in more than 180 Indian films in a career of more than four decades.Bachchan is supposed to be one of the finest and most powerful actors in the history of Indian cinema. In June 2000, he became the first living Asian to have his statue installed at Londons Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.
