ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking the transfer of the high-profile murder trial of TikToker Sana Yousuf from the sessions court to another court.
A single bench of Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar heard the petition filed by the accused, Umair Hayat. After reserving the verdict earlier, the court pronounced its decision, rejecting the transfer request.

The deceased TikToker Sana Yousuf’s family was represented by counsel Sardar Qadeed.
Umair Hayat, the prime accused in the murder case, had filed the petition seeking the transfer of the case pending before the sessions court to another judicial forum.
With today’s ruling, the trial will proceed as scheduled before the same sessions court.
