Summary Minister said that Fiza Ali has a history of pushing limits for ratings.

(Web Desk)- Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has strongly criticised the actress Fiza Ali, accusing her of going to extreme lengths to gain television ratings.

Speaking in a recent interview, Azma Bukhari reacted to a viral video featuring Fiza Ali and her husband, which has sparked debate on social media.

A video circulating on social media shows Fiza Ali performing what many viewers have described as an inappropriate on-air stunt.

In the clip, she asks her husband if he can lift her. He then picks her up onto his shoulders, creating an awkward moment that has since sparked criticism and debate online.

Taking on the viral video, Bukhari termed the incident “regrettable” and questioned the ethical standards involved, adding that the matter is likely to be taken up by PEMRA.

The minister raised concerns about conduct during the show, particularly noting that such actions were performed on camera in the presence of a young child. While acknowledging personal happiness in married life, she stressed that it does not justify public displays that may be considered inappropriate.

She further claimed that the content was aired deliberately and could have been edited or stopped from going on air, but instead was broadcast—possibly in pursuit of higher ratings.

Azma Bukhari added that, in her view, Fiza Ali has a history of pushing limits for ratings, and expressed disappointment over the incident.
