Ex all-rounder Abdul Razzaq jokes about second marriage during TV show

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former Pakistani cricket star Abdul Razzaq recently made a light-hearted remark about wanting a second marriage while appearing on a morning show with host Nida Yasir.

Abdul Razzaq was accompanied by his wife, Ayesha Razzaq, during the interview.

Ayesha Razzaq explained that because Abdul Razzaq was frequently busy with cricket, she managed the household responsibilities, from children’s schooling and parent meetings to groceries and general home management, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

During the conversation, Abdul Razzaq jokingly said, “I have told her many times that I could get married again; it would lighten your workload since you are doing so much.”

When Nida Yasir asked Ayesha if Abdul Razzaq ever surprised her, she looked at her husband, prompting him to quip, “Nida is asking if I ever gave a surprise with a second marriage.” Nida humorously added that public figures often make headlines whenever they hint at remarriage, referring to another celebrity, Imad Wasim.

Abdul Razzaq responded thoughtfully, emphasizing that everyone has their own life, and individuals know what is best for them.

He said, “Time reveals what decisions are right or wrong, and no one can interfere in another person’s life choices.”
