KARACHI (Web Desk) - Alizeh Shah has taken a firm stance against director and producer Yasir Nawaz, warning him of legal action over what she describes as repeated and unnecessary references to her in media appearances.

In a strongly worded message shared on her Instagram story, the Ehd-e-Wafa star expressed anger over Nawaz frequently discussing their past professional association and describing his experience of working with her as “not fun.”

Shah said the comments were damaging and unwarranted, especially given that nearly five years have passed since they worked together on the drama Mera Dil Mera Dushman.

Calling it her “final warning,” Shah asked the director to stop mentioning her name on public platforms.

“Despite the time that has passed, he continues to bring my name up on almost every platform,” she said.

The actress revealed that she is prepared to pursue the matter legally if the behaviour continues.

She stated that any future reference to her by Nawaz would result in the filing of a defamation lawsuit without further notice.

Shah also claimed to have preserved recordings and documentation of the programmes in which her name was mentioned.

In a further warning, Shah said she would be compelled to disclose the real reasons behind the strained working relationship if the comments persisted, adding that such revelations would not reflect positively on the director.

The renewed tension follows earlier remarks by Yasir Nawaz about the challenges he faced while working with Shah.
