LAHORE (Dunya News) - Saba Qamar has sent a legal notice worth Rs10 crore to a well-known journalist over alleged defamatory and baseless accusations.

The controversy began when journalist Naeem Hanif claimed in a podcast that Saba Qamar once lived in a house in Lahore’s Walton area, which was allegedly provided to her by a man.

Saba Qamar strongly denied the allegation, sharing a screenshot of the podcast on her Instagram and calling the claim “false and baseless.”

She stated that she has never lived in Walton and that the comments made against her character are entirely untrue, emphasizing that character assassination is a serious offense.

Later, through her legal team, Saba Qamar sent a notice to the journalist and the concerned YouTube channel, demanding a public apology and removal of the defamatory content within seven days, warning of legal action otherwise.

Saba Qamar also urged her fans and the entertainment industry to speak up against false accusations and stand for their dignity and respect.
