(Web Desk) - The Crime Control Department (CCD) has arrested popular TikTok figure Hakeem Shahzad from his residence in Shujabad near Multan.
Reports confirmed his detention was connected to a viral video showing him hosting a mujra (dance party).
In the clip, attendees could be seen showering money on dancers. Dania Shah could also be seen in the frame.
Authorities stated that the CCD team apprehended him from his home after reviewing the controversial content circulating across platforms.
Soon after, a video emerged featuring Shahzad in modest attire, wearing a prayer cap and offering a heartfelt apology.
In the clip, he admitted to making inappropriate remarks online and hosting a private dance party during devastating floods.
He stated: “Today, CCD called me and advised me, making me understand. I am very ashamed.”
Shahzad pledged to donate every rupee spent at the mujra to flood victims.
He further appealed for forgiveness, urging the public and authorities to show mercy while promising to change his behaviour.
Hakeem Shahzad is widely followed on TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, where he frequently shares self-made remedies and lifestyle content.
