The couple have been in relationship for several years
(Web Desk) - After much doubts and speculation, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are now wife and husband.
The couple, who have been together for several years, chose a simple registry wedding.
The ceremony took place at Sonakshi’s apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, on the evening of June 23, 2024.
Afterwards, Sonakshi shared the first official pictures from her big day.
The couple were dressed in matching off-white outfits and looked radiant as they could be seen smiling in the pictures.
They were surrounded by loved ones. Sonakshi captioned the photos: “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it.
“Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.
“Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever.”
The wedding ceremony was attended by family members and close friends, including her Heeramandi co-star Aditi Rao Hydari.
The pre-wedding festivities began on June 22 with pujas held at Sonakshi’s family home.
