(Web Desk) – Famed actor Sonya Hussain has said women are not given due respect and a very few people know what they should talk in the presence of girls.

In an interview, Sonya Hussain said, “In my opinion, women are not given the respect they deserve and many are unaware of what should be discussed in the presence of girls.”

The star has opened up about her decision to refrain from remarrying after the failure of her first marriage.

She shared insights into the lack of interest in pursuing another marriage stating that she often faces inquiries about her marital status.

She expressed that she feels disconnected from the societal norms prevalent in her community emphasising the apparent deficit in behaviour, class distinctions and fundamental moral values among people.

Further, she pointed out that contemporary society often neglects to respect elders.

She stated, “I cannot accept those things because I am coming from a different perspective. Nothing affects me unless I see good qualities and a gentle attitude among people.”
