(Web Desk) - Actor Ali Afzal Khan revealed that he had far earlier decided to leave showbiz and he did not tell anybody about his decision, saying now he has left the industry fulfilling his commitment to himself.
In a podcast, the actor said he grew inclined to religious activities after holding first-ever Ramazan transmission, study of Quran, and Tableegh with Junaid Jamshed.
Showbiz is a place for glamour, lights and fashion. It is attractive for everyone who is a fan of the world and many want to join in on the fun. But many of our stars have left showbiz for the sake of Allah.
One such actor was Ali Afzal Khan. He surprised everyone when he announced to leave showbiz for religious purposes and he shifted towards business.
In a podcast with Hafiz Ahmed, Ali Afzal Khan shared how he shifted towards Islam.
He revealed that he used to host the first-ever Ramazan transmission.
That is where he thought that he should start studying the Quran.
He did and learnt a lot. He started Tableegh with Junaid Jamshed.
He also decided to leave the industry but did not tell anyone, he completed his commitments and announced his decision.
He also revealed that if he ever gets offered a great and historic character, he would like to play it.
He still gets offers from his director friends but he never felt like signing something.
