Fatima Effendi, Kanwar Arsalan say they are safe as fire erupts in their house
(Web Desk) – In an unexpected turn of events, the celebrity couple Kanwar Arsalan and Fatima Effendi's family home caught fire on Tuesday morning.
Arsalan personally revealed the tragic event, sharing the awful information on Instagram.
"Our house caught on fire today early morning," Arsalan captioned an Instagram Story that included alarming images of their smoke-filled kitchen. Thank God, everyone is secure! Please keep us in mind while you pray."
Effendi and Arsalan devoted an episode of their vlog to narrating the events leading up to the disaster, going into further detail about the terrifying situation.
"I believe that the fire was started by fries that were cooking on the stove," Arsalan stated gravely on the video, above the background noise of ongoing repairs.
"Thank God, nobody was hurt, and we were spared from a greater loss.We have a tonne of calls and texts coming in. We're safe, thank you very much," the actor said, expressing his indebtedness for the show of care.
Explaining the initial turmoil of the event, Arsalan described how the family acted quickly to protect themselves and their possessions, leaving them with little time to consider what had happened or what had caused it.
“We were all awake in our rooms after praying Fajr…all of a sudden we heard Ahmad’s scream and loud smash of glass breaking,” the Betiyaan actor recalled.
