Lahore (Web Desk) - Iffat Omar is Pakistan entertainment industry's famous television and film actor.
She began her modelling and acting career in the nineties and was one of the top Pakistani models.
Iffat Omar is quite a vocal celebrity as she often talks about various political and social issues besides supporting feminism.
Recently, Ifat Omar gave an interview to a private TV channel where the host asked the actress a question about dramatist Khalilur Rehman Qamar, to which she replied that she does not want to talk about him because he is very shallow person.
She mentioned that he (Khalilur Rehman Qamar) has said such a bad thing about her that she doesn’t even want to mention his name.
The actress said she never spoke about him and disagreed with him only because he sat on national television and passed insulting remarks against her.
She added her disagreement was not because he criticised a woman, but if he had criticised a man like that, my reaction would have been the same because no one can sit on national television and use those words against anyone.
She said Qamar sat in a TV show and called me a bad woman so, today she challenges him if he has courage, he should come forward and prove his point.
