(Web Desk) - Nana Patekar has expressed his displeasure over not being cast in the third sequel of the famous Bollywood comedy film Welcome.

According to media reports, the latest sequel of the famous movie is named ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and the filmmakers have told that now Udaybhai (Nana Patekar) and Majnubhai (Anil Kapoor) will not be seen in the film and they are replaced by 'MunaBhai MBBS' duo Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi.

Talking about getting kicked out of Welcome 3 at the trailer launch of his new film Vaccine War, Nana Patekar said, 'Maybe I have become old now and this might be the reason they do not want to cast me.”

He criticized the producers of the film Welcome 3 and said, "Maybe the producers of the movie do not want to cast an old person like me.”

The film 'Welcome to the Jungle' will be released in December 2024 and the cast includes Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta and Paresh Rawal.

It should be noted that the movie Welcome was a superhit movie of 2007 in which Nana Patekar, Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor played the lead roles with the film also featuring Katrina Kaif, besides Paresh Rawal was also a part of the film.

Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar's roles in Welcome were loved by fans and memes on the film's dialogues are still circulating on social media.

It should be noted that the second sequel of the film 'Welcome Back' was released in 2015 in which both the actors were involved.
