Benazir will become the first Pakistani to get the honour

DUBAI (Web Desk) - Benazir Bhutto is all set to become the first Pakistani whose wax figure will be unveiled today at Dubai’s Madame Tussauds.

Foreign Minister and Benazir’s son Bilawal Bhutto will also grace the ceremony today.

“In Dubai, the Foreign Minister will participate in the unveiling ceremony of wax figure of the first Pakistani personality, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, at Madame Tussauds,” the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Benazir was the first woman who became the Prime Minister of Pakistan. She was also the first ever woman of Islamic world to reach the highest office.

She was assassinated on December 27, 2007 in Rawalpindi in a gun attack right after she addressed a mammoth public rally of her party.

Benazir Bhutto had served as Prime Minister of Pakistan two times.
