The 64th annual Grammy Awards Show has been postponed.
LOS ANGELES - (Web Desk): The 64th annual Grammy Awards Show 2022 planned to take place on 31 January in Los Angeles has been postponed due to the soaring omicron cases around the globe.
According to the Recording Academy and CBS, it’s a big risk gathering people amidst the omicron variant spreading globally. The organizers are not ready to risk the safety of the musical community and audience.
While the nominations for the biggest musical night has been announced including Jazz keyboardist Jon Batiste leading the field, with 11 nominations and other artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber and Doja Cat are all up for the main category awards.
The organizers have also revealed that the independent movie premieres and events will take place online, while the date for the Grammy Awards Show 2022 will be announced soon.
