KARACHI (Web Desk) - Actress Yashma Gill has said that men, as well as women, are victims of sexual harassment and violence.
According to a media report, Yashma Gill recently stated her position on the issue, saying that sexual harassment is not bound to gender. "Men can also be victims of sexual violence," Yashma Gill said in an Instagram story. Although men and boys are the vast majority of perpetrators of such crimes, they are also the victims in some instances, she added.
Pakistani filmmaker Jami had revealed two years ago that he was sexually abused 13 years ago by a media mogul. He did not name the abuser but used the words "a prominent figure in the media industry."
