Pakistani, Bollywood stars felicitate Muslims on Eid

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistani and Bollywood stars on Sunday have taken to social-networking platforms and shared heartfelt messages to wish the Muslims on Eid-ul-Fitr amid mourning on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crash in Karachi.

Pakistani versatile actor Adnan Siddiqui posted on Twitter, “What a sad moment all around the world. Covid-19 and now a tragic airplane crash in Karachi, lost so many lives. Life must go on. May Allah protect all of us. Ameen. Eid Mubarak.”

Actor Humayun Saeed also wished the Muslims on Eid and wrote, "Just as we spent Ramazan remembering Allah, repenting for our sins and praying for better times, let s spend this Eid hoping, wishing and praying for our well-being and the well-being of our loved ones. Let us continue to pray for Allah s mercy, for happiness and for life. Eid Mubarak."

Pakistani actor Gohar Rasheed, in his emotional message, said,"If something is helping someone forget this pain let them take this distraction let’s give out a hug by being more empathetic, by being more loving let’s help each other this Eid."

Actress Ayeza also took to Instagram and dedicated this Eid to the victims of PIA plane crash.



Actor, director and producer Samina Peerzada prayed that may the new moon bring peace and happiness and may the pain we all are going through be eased.

On the other hand, Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan also congratulated the Muslims and stated, "Eid Mubarak to all and the prayers on this auspicious day for peace .. for harmony .. for good health .. for friendship and love .. for ever.. bring us together in peace and love and in the continuity of brotherhood sisterhood and family .. be ONE .. be in ONE."
