LAHORE (Dunya News) – Coronavirus pandemic has blanketed the entire world with more and more cases surfacing daily and rising number of deaths being reported every day across the world.
With panic come the fake news that keep circulating on social media by desi people. Some say that onion, ginger and garlic can cure corona, others say that the virus will be gone once summers arrive.
Such fake news have gone more viral than the virus itself and didn’t even spare the people from showbiz industry.
Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has urged the government to ban all fake news, rumours, desi totkay for Corona Virus spreading on WhatsApp.
The singer tweeted in a humourous way that govt has banned the fake news circulating on WhatsApp about Corona virus especially by uncles and aunties, which itself is fake news.

The singer has been playing the role of an influencer and creating awareness among people through his social media since coronavirus outbreak.
