Boasting a price tag of about 125 million dollars, Fast Five reunites franchise stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in a high-octane series of car chases set in the gritty slums of Rio De Janeiro. This has put the film on pace to gross 83.6 million dollars in ticket sales at 3,644 locations, ending the business as the number one on the chart. The film has received positive and favorable reviews from film critics as a whole.Two other new releases stalled. The Walt Disney teen comedy Prom came in at No. 5 with 5 million, and the closely held Weinstein Cos animated sequel Hoodwinked Too Hood Vs Evil thumped at No. 6 with just over 4 million.
