Lookalikes of the royal couple wed to promote a book, Kate and Wills up the Aisle, on April 1.

Dressed as Prince William and his fiancée Kate Middleton, the lookalikes, 29-year-old Simon Watkinson and 22-year-old Jodie Bredo, along with an impersonator of Queen Elizabeth II, drove along an avenue in central London, in a horse-drawn carriage, on April fool’s day.Doubles of Prince William and her bride to be, Kate Middleton, drew crowds for the launch of a pictorial book by Alison Jackson which presented a behind the scenes take on the royal wedding. The artist uses lookalikes to create paparazzi-style pictures. The royal couple were to wed in a ceremony at St Pauls Church in Covent Garden, London but due to a huge turnout of people and the media, the Pope refused to wed the couple. The real wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton is scheduled on April 29. The pictorial book also had pictures of the royal couple as a tribute.
