Argentina: Buenos Aires Fashion Week begins

Buenos Aires Fashion Week kicked off on Tuesday, finishing the opening night with a high voltage show from designer Ricky Sarkany.

The models from the local brand Wanama took the runway, showing of a fall/winter line dominated by scarves, boots, wool sweaters and leg warmers. Fashion critics jotted notes and snapped photos as the dresses moved from thick fabrics to thinner gauzes.Buenos Aires Fashion Week, held at the La Rural convention center in Buenos Aires trendy Palermo neighborhood, ends 25th February 2011.
