Adam Sandler received the 2,431st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday, honoring a career which has seen his films gross more than 3 billion dollars worldwide.I worked hard as a comedian, and then I got on TV and I got into movies. Just so many people come out here with the same dreams I had and somehow I'm getting to do them and I really appreciate it, said Sandler. Sandler's two daughters Sadie and Sunny were on hand for the ceremony. They both got applause from the crowd for their remarks about their dad. Sandler's best known part was the title role in the 1995 comedy Billy Madison.'' He's gone on to star in numerous comedies including Happy Gilmore,'' The Wedding Singer,'' and Grown Ups. In his latest film, Just Go With It, he portrays a successful plastic surgeon who pretends to be married in order to attract women. The film co-stars Jennifer Aniston and hits theaters on February 18.
