Vidya Balan chosen for a love story
New film for which Vidya has been confirmed for the lead is an emotional love story.
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - After Vidya Balan is done with the Ghanchakkar promotions and the filming of her next, Shaadi Ke Side Effects , the actress will start Vishesh Films next.
The untitled project will be directed by Mohit Suri. Riding high after the success of Aashiqui 2 , Suri is presently directing Villain which features Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles.
The film with Vidya, a source tells us, is an emotional love story. "While Vidya has been confirmed for the lead, the male lead is yet to be finalised."
On how Vidya came on board, the source added, "Vidya loved the script and immediately agreed to be a part of the film.
The production house is in the process of working out the modalities of the project. The film may go on floors by end of this year."
When TOI contacted Mukesh Bhatt, he confirmed that Vidya has been signed for Mohit Suri s next. But he left us guessing if their blue-eyed boy, Emraan Hashmi will step into the male lead s role.
