Bollywood's biggest star Amitabh Bachchan is turning 70 and says he likes the idea of getting old.

Hundreds of film stars, politicians and fans greeted him at a big birthday bash Thursday in Mumbai, Indias entertainment capital.Bachchan told the Hindustan Times newspaper in an interview published Thursday: I quite like the idea of getting old. Its a natural phenomenon.Popularly known as Big B, he has acted in more than 180 Indian films in a career spanning four decades.The Bachchans are known as Bollywoods first family. The actor is married to Jaya Bachchan, an actress-turned-lawmaker. Their son Abhishek is also an actor and is married to Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
