(Dunya News) – Calligraphy is a symbolic Islamic heritage art using which calligraphers eloquently write Quranic verses and chapters in artistic expression and style. The tradition still continues as upcoming calligraphers explore various techniques and styles in their work.

Talented young calligraphers exhibited their work during the Abdul Majeed, Parveen Raqam National Calligraphy exhibition which held in Faisalabad on Friday.

Using various types of ‘naqsh’, the artists not only exhibited calligraphic works, but also painted Quranic Aayat in different styles.
