Islamabad: certificate distribution ceremony at MAJU

Degrees were distributed among noble students of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University in Islamabad.

University VC Mian Amer Mehmood conferred honourary degree on Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.While addressing students, world famous scientist Dr AQ Khan paid tribute to the endeavours of Mian Amir Mehmood in the field of education.He said that he was troubled and anxious for shortcomings and demerits in our academic system, adding that MAJU is one of those institutes which are providing modern and quality education to the students. In the ceremony, degrees were distributed among 605 students belonging to different departments.The students who showed outstanding performance were bestowed with 17 gold medals, 18 silver medals and 8 of bronze. It is worth mentioning that about 18 students have completed their PhD programmes from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University this year.
