MULTAN (Dunya News) - A contractor allegedly killed a 15-year-old labourer by running him over with a vehicle following a minor dispute at a private housing society.
According to rescue sources, the incident occurred when a dispute reportedly arose between the contractor and the teenager, Waseem Abbas, over preventing him from going home.
The boy allegedly tried to flee when the contractor ran him over, resulting in his death at the scene.
A video of the incident has also surfaced, reportedly showing the vehicle hitting the teenager.
Police said the suspect, identified as Tauqir, has been arrested in connection with the case.
The deceased, a resident of Muzaffargarh, worked as an electrician.
Investigating authorities said further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
