KARACHI (Dunya News) – Three alleged robbers were killed in an exchange of fire with police in an area of Azizabad here on Monday.
According to SSP Central Imran Khan, police got a distress call that three suspected robbers deprived a man of cash and other valuables. Police chased and engaged them effectively. During the shootouts, all three robbers were eliminated.
Their bodies were shifted to hospital for medicolegal procedures. Looted cash and illegal weapons were seized from the dead criminals. Further investigation was underway. Police said effective steps were being taken to protect life and property of the citizens.
After the encounter, police intensified security and enhanced checking of vehicles to ensure law and order in the City.
