Summary Karachi court acquits Karsaz accident accused in drug case, citing insufficient evidence after chemical and blood tests failed to detect ice.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - A Karachi court has acquitted the woman accused in the Karsaz road accident case in a separate drug-related case, citing lack of evidence.
According to the accused’s lawyer, neither the chemical analysis nor the blood test detected ice, commonly referring to crystal methamphetamine. The court subsequently acquitted the accused due to insufficient evidence.
The Karsaz Road accident occurred on August 19, 2024, when a speeding vehicle struck a motorcycle carrying Amina Arif and her father from behind, killing both of them.
The crash took place near the National Stadium on Karsaz Road. The speeding vehicle hit the motorcycle before colliding with another car, leaving one vehicle completely wrecked. Police arrested the woman accused of causing the accident.

Several videos of the accused emerged following the incident, in which she was allegedly seen appearing drowsy and threatening people at the scene.
Earlier, a report by the police investigating officer stated that the accused had repeatedly changed her statements during the investigation.
