Four robbers injured, arrested in Karachi 'encounters'

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested four burglars when they were injured in two ‘encounters’ here on Monday, Dunya News reported.

In the first incident took place in Ferozabad, two suspected robbers were arrested in an injured condition after an exchange of fire with police. They were shifted to hospital. Their two accomplices escaped under the cover of darkness.

Police launched a manhunt for the escapees. Weapons and mobile phones were seized from them. Further investigation was underway.

In another incident took place in Pak Colony, two robbers were injured in an exchange of fire with police. They were later arrested with weapons and a motorcycle. Further investigation was underway.
