Three suspected bandits killed in Gujranwala 'shootouts'

GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - Three alleged robbers were killed in encounters with police in Tatlay Aali and Ladhewala police jurisdictions here on Monday night, Dunya News reported.

The suspected bandits were identified as Arsalan, Iftikhar and Hamza. Their three accomplices managed to escape taking advantage of darkness.

According to police, the suspects were looting passers-by after blocking a road. When police on information reached the crime scene, they opened fire, which was returned in a befitting manner.

In retaliatory firing, three outlaws were dead. The alleged robbers were killed in the firing of their own accomplices.

Their bodies were shifted to hospital for medicolegal procedure. Police were conducting raids to track down the fleeing bandits.
