LARKANA (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have arrested a robber after he was injured in an exchange of fire in Kati Mumtaz area here on Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
According to SSP, a police party was on a routine patrol when on suspicion they signalled some suspects to stop for a checking. But they did not stop and opened fire, which was returned by the police.
During the shootout, a suspected robber was injured, and later arrested. He was identified as Farhan. He was shifted to hospital. His accomplices escaped taking cover of darkness.
Police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspects. The arrested robber was wanted in many cases of crimes. Further investigation was underway.
