Three terrorists killed as attack on police post foiled in Bannu

BANNU (Dunya News) – Three terrorists were eliminated and a constable embraced martyrdom when militants attacked Fateh Khail Police post on Saturday night, Dunya News reported.

The befitting response by the police foiled the attack of militants. The martyred Constable was identified as Niaz. The injured policemen were identified as Mufti Mahmood, Soda and Munir. They were admitted to hospital.

The dead bodies of the militants were sent to hospital for identification. According to police, the terrorists used heavy weapons, but strong response from the police thwarted their attempt.

Police have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation for the fleeing militants.
