Two bandits killed, policeman injured in Mian Channu 'encounter'

MIAN CHANNU (Dunya News) – Two suspected robbers were killed and a policeman was injured in a shootout between the outlaws and the law enforcers in City Police jurisdiction here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
Police on patrol signalled four suspects riding two bikes to stop for a routine checking. Instead of complying with the police order, they opened fire on law enforcers.
Police retaliated, and as a result of an exchange fire, two robbers were killed and a policeman was injured.
On information, police high-ups along with contingent of police reached the crime scene, and started investigation. A search operation was launched to arrest the fleeing robbers.
