MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - At least 19 prisoners, including a terrorist, escaped the Rawalakot prison on Sunday.
Ghazi Shahzad, a terrorist affiliated with a banned outfit, was among the escaped inmates. He was caught by CTD and handed over to the police while one prisoner was killed in the exchange of fire.
According to police sources, one of the inmates took the guard hostage at gunpoint at the main gate.
Police sources further said Ghazi Shahzad belonged to a proscribed terrorist organisation. He was a resident of Gadala Palindri.
