Two robbers arrested after ‘encounter’
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two suspected robbers were arrested after an encounter with police and two citizens injured during robbery in separate incidents here on Monday, Dunya News reported.
In Orangi Town and Ayub Ghot, two citizens were injured during robbery incidents. One of the injured was identified as Baber.
In Korangi Zaman Town, two robbers were arrested after an encounter with police. They sustained bullet injuries in the shootout.
Later, they were nabbed by the police. They were identified as Mehran and Faizan. Arms and looted valuables were seized from them. They are history-sheeters and involved in dozens of heinous crimes.
In Gulshan-e-Iqbal, police busted a gang of mobile phone snatchers. The gang members would snatch valuables from rickshaw passengers.
In Mehmood Abad, a woman took away a mobile phone and a purse from a beauty parlor. Police have registered a case.
