Arms, looted valuables seized form robbers
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A citizen was shot dead during a robbery incident and three suspected robbers were killed and two arrested after encounters with police in separate incidents.
Citizen Abdul Basit was murdered by two robbers during a robbery. Two robbers plundered cash and valuables from Abdul Basit. When he attempted to the foil the robbery bid, the robbers opened fire on him.
As a result, he sustained injuries and died before being shifted to hospital. The locals caught hold of the suspected robbers and tortured them and later handed over to police.
In Rajor Line, two alleged bandits were killed in an encounter with police. Their dead bodies were shifted to hospital for autopsy and launched an investigation.
Police seized weapons, bullets and looted valuables from them. Further investigation was underway.
In Sharifabad FC area, a suspected robber was killed in shootout with police. His accomplice escaped. Police recovered looted cash and weapons from the dead robber. Police were investigating.
