KARACHI (Dunya News) - Two people were shot dead and a woman was injured by robbers on resistance in separate incidents here on Monday, Dunya News reported.

In the first incident in New Karachi, a man identified as Taj Muhammad was gunned by some unidentified armed men.

The motive for the murder of the citizen could not be ascertained, however, police on being informed reached the spot and launched investigation into the murder.

Police have registered a case after shifting the dead body to hospital for post-mortem.

The law-enforcers recorded statements and collected forensic evidence to find out clue about the killers who were still at large.

In the second incident in Khamisa Chowk, a man was gunned down by unidentified armed men. The deceased was identified as Gul Muhammad.

On being informed, police rushed to the crime scene and started investigation after sending the dead body to hospital for autopsy.

In the third incident in Sadi Town near Malir Check Post-5, robbers shot at and injured a woman on putting resistance.

The woman was going somewhere when robbers intercepted her on a road and attempted to snatch valuables from her.

When she refused to surrender to the outlaws, the robbers wounded her and made off with her belongings.

Police scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation. The law-enforcers with help of footage of security cameras were trying to find out the robbers who were on the run after doing their criminal activity.
