Unidentified assailants attacked an outhouse with axes
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) – Four people, two women and a child among them, were axed to death by assailants at Jahbaharan village.
The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
The attackers barged into an outhouse and killed four people. A woman was also injured in the attack. She was shifted to hospital in a critical condition.
Having being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation.
According to law enforcers, the assailants reached the outhouse by a car and fled after killing them. The gruesome murder of four people saddened the area people and spread panic in the vicinity.
Punjab IGP Dr Usman Anwar took notice of the incident and ordered police to arrest the killers at the earliest.
The DPO said the family had come to Sheikhupura from Faisalabad. He said three other members of the family remained safe because they were not at home at that time.
The deceased were identified as Shah Muhammad, Ashra, Kiran and Abdul Rauf.
