KARACHI (Dunya News) – Robbers wounded three citizens on resistance in different areas of the city, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
In the first incident in New Karachi, two burglars riding a motorcycle intercepted a citizen and attempted to snatch valuables from him.
When the man put resistance and tried to foil their attempt of looting, the outlaws shot at and injured him and fled the scene.
A rescue team reached the spot and shifted the injured to hospital. The victim was identified as Aslam. Police were investigating.
In the second incident in Sarjani Town, two robbers injured a passerby on resistance and took away a mobile phone and cash from him.
On being informed, police reached the crime scene and registered a case after shifting the injured to hospital.
A searched operation was launched to track down the fleeing robbers. Police were investigating after collecting evidence from the crime scene.
Yet in another incident, a man was shot at and injured by two robbers on resistance in Iqbal Market area.
The robbers fled the scene after snatching valuables from the citizen. Further investigation is under way.
