LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police Thursday claimed to have recovered a five-year-old girl kidnapped from Ichrra area.
The girl was abducted from Ichrra area a few days ago when she was playing in a street in front of her house.
Police with the help of surveillance footage first identified the suspect and then started a manhunt for his arrest.
After hectic efforts, the police reached out the hideout of the abductor and apprehended him with the abductee whom he wanted to sell to a gang.
Police are investigating and finding clue to the gang or persons whom he wanted to the sell the victim.
The suspect has been identified as Munawar. Police said it is inconclusive that the suspect is associated with any gang of kidnappers, adding further investigation will unfold the facts.
