SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) - As many as five abducted police officials including SHO Shikarpur were recovered in the wee hours on Tuesday.
The operation was in full swing in Shikarpur’s Katcha area for last many days and all the abducted policemen reached at SSP House Shikarpur last night.
The abducted personnel were kidnapped from the jurisdiction of Police Station Kot Shahu.
SHO Kot Shahu Mehboob Barohi, his son and three other policemen were kidnapped few days ago. The dacoits also returned back the weapons snatched from the police officials.
DIG Larkana Javed Jaskani and SSP Shikarpur met with the recovered officials on Tuesday.
The sources said that negotiations remained continued between the police high-ups and robbers for the recovery of kidnapped officials.
The robbers had kidnapped the police officials after the arrest of their notorious leader Mehar Buddani.
The police officials were abducted in the wee hours on October 11 from the jurisdiction of Police Station Kot Shahu.
