KARACHI (Dunya News) – A ward councillor was killed and two other persons were injured in a firing incident following a scuffle between two groups over power theft issue in Sarjani Town Sector 4-C.
The victim identified as Muhammad Habib is stated to be the area councillor of JI.
It is reported that a dispute was going on between the two groups over a power theft issue. On the day of the incident, the rivals started firing following an altercation.
As a result, Muhammad Habib, who was present there for reconciliation between the rivals, came under the fire and lost his life.
The two injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
A heavy contingent of police reached the spot and started investigation.
