WAZIRABAD (Dunya News) - The main suspect of triple murder was arrested in Alipur Chattha tehsil of Wazirabad district.
The suspect had shot dead three members of a family on the Eid day over a property dispute. A team, headed by the Wazirabad SDPO, was earlier constituted to arrest the suspect.
According to police, the suspect confessed to killing three persons of a same family and the weapon has also been recovered. The suspect had killed a man, his son and an uncle over a property dispute right after the Eid prayers. The culprit had earlier killed his father seven years ago, the police said.
The police say the suspect had killed his father over a property dispute and now he shot dead his three close relatives for pursuing the case of his father in court.
Punjab IGP Dr Usman Anwar directed the regional police officer (RPO) of Gujranwala to form a special team for the arrest of suspect at the earliest.
