LAHORE (Dunya News) - An active member of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been arrested by the Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Multan.

According to a CTD's spokesman, Kamal is a TTP commander. A quantity of explosives, fuses, a mobile phone and some cash was recovered from the arrested terrorist during an intellgence-based operation (IBO).

He claimed that the CTD personnel had performed 479 combing operations across the province in the previous week and took 25 suspects into custody.
