The dacoits were robbing people when police arrived on the spot
ARIFWALA (Dunya News) – Two dacoits were killed after an after alleged police encounter during a robbery attempt, the police chased down the dacoits later in a search operation on the late hours of Saturday night.
According to reports, the dacoits were robbing people when the police got information about the incident through 15 and reached the scene immediately. The dacoits at first fled the scene using the advantage of dark but were later chased down by the police at Qaboola road near Jamia Islamia.
In an exchange of fire during the second encounter, two of the dacoits got injured and were arrested, however they succumbed to their injuries while being shifted to hospital for medical aid. Whereas, one of the dacoit once again slipped from the police using the advantage of dark.
The police continued the search operation once again with the help of additional troops from other police stations as well. The police have claimed to initiate investigations into the matter.
